During my last two years at PSU, I was a designer at the PSU Vanguard student newspaper, later becoming creative director. During that time I got to work on a large variety of content, creating layouts and managing a small team of designers.

The transition to remote work and online-only publishing at the beginning of the pandemic provided some surprising design opportunities, as we could design more in RGB and be less restrictive about content placement and full-bleed images.
